Packed with Love....

Ahhhhhhhh Summer how I love ya, love ya, love ya youuuuuu!   I am in full Summer swing.....just got back from our family vacation.  I am still a little on island time.  Coming to grips with the laundry.  But sooo very glad to be home.
Popping in here real quick to share a project made for RRR.  Both can be given as gifts....filled with candies or a small gift.  A pillow box and painted mason jar both with a fruit motif.  I used papers from Carta Bella and Raspberry Road.  My ribbons include cotton blend ribbonplaid ribbon in redcherry twineTeresa white crochet lace, and lipstick red seam binding.  My main focal point are some sweet little vintage millinery fruits I found in my stash.  I embellished them with sweetheart blossoms and parrot green leaves.   Other than that a few silk flowers and stamped sentiments from Wplus9 and I was done!  Enjoy!  hugs, cherry

Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop!!!

Time for blog hopping with RRR!!!  You should have made your way here from Kathy's blog.   If you get lost at anytime just start back at RRR link!  The ribbon club ribbons are all gorgeous nuetrals.  They are great for just about any color combo.  I decided to stay with black and white with a little kraft thrown in.  I used very simple goodies....a Prima image , vintage buttons and chipboard stars, some kraft scallops, and my club ribbons,  I also used a bit of black seam binding.   Your next stop along the way is back at the RRR blog!    Have fun and be inspired!  Cherry

Summer Fruits...

Hello there!  Did you have a fun 4th?  We headed off to Diamond Lake for a fireworks show over the lake.  It was beautiful! I hope yours was too.  It is my turn over at the RRR blog today.  I decided to  make a couple of fruity birthday cards.
I again have been having fun breaking into some old stamp sets.  I used sets from PTI and WPLUS9.  My papers are old papers from Jenni Bowlin and Crate Paper.  I used seam bindingsPlaid ribbon in red and Pink, and Karen white crochet lace.   I also used sweetheart blossoms and leafs in parrot green on my mason jar.  I added little details with some mini stamps and had fun with shading.  I love, love, love these and how they turned out.....hope you do too!  Hugs, cherry

Beautiful Bows challenge at RRR!!!

Time for a fun challenge over at the RRR blog!  We are doing a beautiful bow challenge.  Sooooo fun and inspiring.   I dug into my vintage milk toppers for this challenge pairing them with fun retro pattern papers.  Old October Afternoon along with some digital papers.  I used lipstick red seam bindingmoss green seam bindingtextured two tone light blue ribbon, and bakers twine in Cherry to hang the tags from.  I topped my bows off with cute little sweetheart blossoms and edged the bottoms with washi tape and vintage laces.   I am thinking these will be adorable as toppers for chalk painted mason jars!  Enjoy!  Hugs, Cherry
